A group of us are going bowling and it's a pizza party 1 slice per person and a drink (I gave my slice to my daughter what child eats only 1 slice) but we get to bring snacks such as cake, cookies etc

Celeste I haven't been bowling since I was in high school & it sounds like fun! (never mind how many years ago!) We have a casino that has a bowling alley.

many moons ago  we went to the all-night bowl-a-thons     and i really enjoyed it         but a severe knee injury put a stop to that
now my hands , arms , etc would never co-operate in lifting or throwing that ball
but with good friends it can be very enjoyable

Wow bowling brings back a lot of very fond memories. We bowled on a few couples leagues but I wasn't ever very good but my hubby was. Some of his friends were out on the pro tour but we could never afford for him to do that.I sure miss all his high games and the excitement and traveling out of town for some local tournaments.

I love bowling and am on a league on Tuesdays. My knees hurt but I think bowling
is good exercise for them.. I also go to state and National tournments.
This year we for to Reno for nationals. You don't have to be extra good just
pay your enterey fee. This will be my 16th time going to nationals. We always
drive and have seen a lot of the Good Old USA. We have been to several
states, I wish they would have it in Washington or Oregon or some place close
up there.

I think many bowling places have ramps that can be used so you do not have to hold the ball very long and you do not have to roll it.  Most also have gutter guards that they can put up to prevent the ball from rolling into the gutter.  You should be able to bowl again.

I haven't been bowling in a while - used to be on a ladies' classic league and a mixed doubles with my hubby! Great fun - will have to do it again soon! Glad you had a good time!
