I wish I hadn't seen Pet Sematary by Stepehn King. I'd never read any of his books but did like some of his movies. I guess the book was better than the movie.

I happened upon a real treat while browsing at the local antique shop for an Amish Cookbook. A friend suggested I read a book by Tony Hillerman back in the 80's. I thought I'd read all of them but found 'The Skeleton Man' for $5. I haven't finished it yet, but so far, it is just as excellent as all of his other books. I love the history of the Native Americans that he always includes in every book.

Is it/ are they about Chocolate???? this is something I need to look into.  Just might have to do a little search right now.

OK I did a little search and by gosh they are all about CHOCOLATE. I will have to look for them at the library or if I am lucky enough to find them at Half Price Books or Goodwill or any of the other places I search for books. Thanks for the info on an author I may never have found out about.  By the way do the books have recipes?  That would make them all the better.

Nikki-  Laughing  You know if you think about it our smiles might look mean to some animals at first until they learn that we aren't mean. Dogs bare their teeth and growl... and that is in no way a smile!  :)

I have read all of Sue Grafton's alphabet mysteries, including her recent " Kinsey and Me".  Now I'm waiting for W is for ????  I'm also waiting for Catherine Coulter's "Back Fire" to come out in paper back.  ( I'm too cheap to buy hardbacks except for Sue Grafton's )  I'm also waiting for Harlan Coben's  newest "Six Years" and Jonathan Kellerman' newest "Guilt" to come out in paperback.  I read  Janet Evanovich's latest Stephanie Plum book "Notorious Nineteen" on my "nook", but I really like paperbacks better.  SO right now I'm in a waiting mode.  I'm concentrating on cross stitch instead.

Vicki, I agree about Ranger.  He is definitely  "hot", and he keeps Stephanie in cars.  However, Morelli is no slouch either, and Lula makes me laugh with her "toaster cars".  The winner is Grandma though.  I have had tears running down my face from laughing so hard at her antics!!

I just thought I'd mention that there are book sellers online that have reasonable prices. they buy overstocks, out of print, covers that aren't perfect, imports and the like. I've been buying books from one years now. He charges one flat price no matter how much you buy! And there's any subject you can think of. Just enter "book seller" if you go look.
