GRANA here;   As we leavesummwer&  go into fall, Itis time to  use heavier bed covers .In the summertime, we did fine w/ justa top sheet.These last few weks w added a lightblanket.

As we leavesummwer& go into fall, Itis time to use heavier bed covers .In the summertime, we did fine w/ justa top sheet.These last few weks w added a lightblanket.Last night w puton thequilt/comforter/ down blanket.
Since we negected to launder it at the end of spring as we usually do, each year, We finally got around to taking it to thelaundromat this morning.
Hubby took $7 w/ him but prices at the aundromat as EVERY WHERE LSE HAVE GONE UP( last year it cost $3_ to wash & dry our quilt This year $7 was not enough money
What are you sleeping under this week? sheets/ blanket/ quilt c/mforter; made of polyester or down filling?

now The cats are not allowedon the table but w/ the bed cover on itto complete drying making it feel like our bed they both spent afewhours on it today!
Itisso humid that I expect to not be able to use the own blanket on our bed for another week!

Our heat has not been put on yet and I'm still too warm.I sleep in my recliner as I can't sleep flat.Most nights I have a dog on either side of me to keep me warm.I rarely need a blanket.

We still have daytime temps near 100, so blankets are the last thing on my mind. lol

It will be warm enough here for the next couple of months to still have the A/C on......on top of that I am at that age where I experience my own "personal summers" every 20 minutes or so!! My husband sleeps with the covers up to his neck. I sleep with maybe a sheet and the ceiling fan blowing directly on me! I'm one hot momma and not in a good way. Sigh......

i will still have the air on here for a good while------------i like it cool at night and even in winter the thermostat is set at 65 and the ceiling fan runs year round
my bed coverings mattress pad on out have as high a cotton content as i can find
i use a blanket , covered by a comforter -bedspread w/ a quilt folded across the feet and legs year-round

in winter i add an electric blanket between the sheet and cotton thermal blanket all of which are turnned back below my shoulders with only comforter covering my neck and arms it's like a cocoon but doesn't smother me

funny this came up today as yesterday i had to go to bed, bath and beyond to get a new memory zone pad for my bed and a new mattress pad w/20" sides so maybe it will stay on better
my cleaning lady will have to do all this for me so i'll go ahead and have her put the electric blanket on while she's doing that but i won't actually turn it on until it's cold enough to run the heat

No A/C here....49 degrees this A.M.....but, I am still sleeping with just a sheet. I sleep better when the weather...and Me, too...is cool. Even in the dead of winter, a sheet does the trick!!

It has cooled off quite a bit. I love it but my husband does not. But even in the heat of the summer he is sleeping with PJ's and a t shirt on as well. (probably the Alzheimer's as I have talked to quite a few people that tell me their spouse does the same thing.)
I have not yet turned on the heat. I did close the windows last night it was in the 40's. I have a light quilt on the bed. Most likely will put on another blanket for my husband if it does not warm up in the next day or so. I think it is supposed to get into the 70's again then drop back down.

It's been very cool overnight for a few days now. Usually just a light thermal blanket will do. But our heat actually kicked on at 5 am this morning since it got cooler than 62 in here. Guess somebody forgot to shut it off last spring lol.

Here in southern Georgia, I have on a sheet, thin summer blanket, and a waffle-weave blanket. We have an overhead fan on and the window open. Lovely evenings and warm days!
