In Response to Re: We are more beautiful than we think!;-)) : This is very true. However I think what we feel about ourselves projects. That can make a difference as to how other people perceive us. If we greet the world every morning with a smile people will smile back this is the start of a good day. On the other hand if you do not smile, or feel unattractive, will not smile at you, greet you and your day will continue on a downward spiral. All this can make a difference. One day just try walking through a store or on a walking path say good morning to people, smile it is amazing after doing that for a few minutes you begin to feel better. So yes it is important what is on the inside but what we project can be just as important. By the way if you really want to put a smile on someone's face...walk up to someone and compliment them about something, their coat, their blouse, anything. I have done this and it is amazing the genuine smile that I get, as well as a very surprised look. I guarantee you will make someone's day.

I volunteer at our local Food Pantry, and make a point of complimenting or saying something positive to each client as they arrive. A few have broken down in tears because they've had a hard day or week, and this little gesture helps brighten their day. I try to follow the Golden Rule all the time.
