Avidly. I save a lot each week, usually around $50. But it is a lot of work and I search all over the place for them. I wish i didn't have to, bu t finding any way to save money right now is important. Things are tight and I do not only the coupons, but i get all kinds of freebies and samples too. Anything to help the budget go as far as it can!

I am a couponer! I have been for many years, and remember when we used to have conventions and traded coupons and complete deals, as they were called. It was a high for me and I loved it! Couponing is more difficult now as some stores do not ccept computer coupons. I am able to collect a few, so it is still worth it.

Ah, coupons...YES! I use many newspaper and in-store coupons, as well as those found on the internet. I have, on occasion, been able to save 40-50 dollars by shopping smart and using coupons.

ABSOLUTELY! I have been using coupons for YEARS and save a ton of money. One year I decided to put all the money saved by coupons in a jar and was able to purchase a 42" HDTV for my husband for Christmas and paid CASH! Requires a little work but receives big dividends.

Yes, I been a couponer for years! It's work sometimes but nice to see the savings. Times have changed though and so have coupons. They used to have longer expiration dates than they do now. There also don't seem to be as many coupons out there for things I normally buy. A few years ago, I could go to the store and hand them 40 to 50 coupons for things I bought. Now I'm lucky if I have 10 coupons to hand them. There are some things I never have to buy without a coupon....like Colgate toothpaste. They come out with coupons usually once a month or so. I like that $1.00 off ones.....I try to buy it when the item is also on sale. There've been times I've only had to pay 50 cents for a tube! Some brands I do compromise on if I have a coupon and the product is just as good as my regular brand. Others....I won't compromise even if I have a coupon for another brand that I don't care for.
I can't imagine how some families can go without couponing!!

My last shopping trip I spent $71.24 and saved $78.68 and had $21.00 off my next grocery bill,and that's how I bought my turkey.I spend every Sunday clipping coupons and looking for coupons on line.

I love using coupons, especially when things are also on sale. One of our grocery stores is in a program where i can download coupons to my loyalty card. No need to print out the coupons and I get the savings automatically at the register. It's called Shortcut.com and includes a bunch of stores that have loyalty card programs like Kroger, Vons, Safeway, etc. Unfortunately only one store around here is on the list or i would put all the coupons on every card. For the other stores I usually rely on the sunday paper coupons.

Like Gale, I also only buy meat when it's on sale and stock up. It does help to have an extra freezer.

You can find coupons in the Sunday paper usually. Also magazines. And, sign up for newsletters of companies that make your favorite products to be sent to an email address. I have a 2nd email address I use. I get them from Nestle's, Betty Crocker, Kraft, Duncan Hines, Oscar Mayer, etc. Also go on line and try to find the PGA web site and sign up for their newsletter and coupons.

There are a lot of on line sites but, you have to pick and choose so you only get the coupons and not other "free offers".

To keep them organized, I use a coupon organizer w/labeled index cards. When I make my grocery list, I make it on a discarded envelope w/an unprinted back and put the coupons I will use inside of it. As I add a coupon, I put a star next to the product and the info required to use the coupon. Such as: *bath tissue (Charmin 12 dbl rolls) x 1 @ $1. The "x 1" is the amount of packages I need to buy to use the coupon on the 12 double rolls and the @ $1 is the coupon amt. Makes it very ez.

Hi Nancy,some of the other ladies have answered some of the questions that you have asked.Go to coupon mom.com,this was on Oprah and they have a tutorial on there that will answer many of your questions and will get you on your way to saving.I spend about an hour every Sunday searching the coupons from the paper and going to the sites for more coupons.I keep my coupons in a makeup bag and I labeled envelopes to keep them in.My store doubles coupons and takes internet coupons.Usually when a manufacurer gives out a coupon it will be on sale soon or is on sale.Our ads come out on tues for the next weeks sale.I will buy more Sunday papers when there are coupons that I use in them.I also trade coupons with my friends.I know the prices of the items that I usually buy.I know the lay out of my store and make my shopping list accordingly,that saves time when you don't have to back track.I make out my shopping list and then pull out my coupons for that weeks shopping adventure. LOL I love to shop.I have rules that I stick to.if it's not on sale or if there isn't a coupon don't buy it.Always take your coupons with you sometimes there are unadvertised sales.Once they marked down air freshener and I had a coupon and paid like 19 cents for it.I buy multiples of things on sale.My pantry is always full as is my freezer.I buy meat and produce when it is on sale.Rarely is there a coupon for produce.I save about 50% on my groceries.There is also coupon .com.Another site I found is Still Tasty.com this is not a coupon site but a valuable tool it gives you shelf life of all your groceries.How long you can freeze items etc.Never go to the store hungry,you will buy things you really don't need.Do check out coupon mom.com that will teach you and send you to different sites for more coupons.Happy shopping!

It all depends on what store where I am shopping. We have a store where I live called Aldi's it is a basic store, few shelves, most of the items are left on the shipping pallets. They have freezer items as well as refrigerated items and a pretty full line of grocery items. The brands are their own but of good quality. The stores are owned by the same company that owns Trader Joe's so if you like Trader Joe's brand items these are pretty much the same. Any way they don't take coupons because their prices are pretty much rock bottom as it is. Many baking supplies I get from Sam's Club or Costco. The few items that I do purchase at a regular market you better believe I will use a coupon if I have one.
