I am a bit frustrated with the new web site. This feeling is an improvement over the past couple of days when my frustration was to the point of giving up on the site completely

. I am still trying to navigate around it. There was a survey which I responded to a couple of weeks ago. I did say that I like the old site, but would like to see more of the swapped recipes. I really enjoyed trying several of the recipes from fellow bakers. I still can't find the swapped recipes. Am hoping that they come back. Am looking forward to the quirks being worked out or bringing the old site back.......This will happen right?

I'm not very pleased with the new website. I really miss the Private Messaging I used that a lot in the past! Is the new website going to offer Private Messaging???

I really don't like this site. VBB had a great site a couple of years ago. I really loved it then. But then you had to keep on trying to make it better when all it keeps getting worse.

I am also frustrated with the new site. it looks nice, but I liked to old system for earning brownie points and viewing how many points I had earned better.

I like the new look just have to get used to it and learn how to navigate around and get my points for the day. Good recipes and have some new ones to try.

I'm not very pleased with the new website. I really miss the Private Messaging I used that a lot in the past! Is the new website going to offer Private Messaging???

Private Messaging IS available on the new site! We are posting a document soon that will show where your old favorites are from the new site as well as some exciting new features. We apologize that it isn't working now as it should.

I do like change...........but at the same time I do miss some of the old website. The Brownie Points were easier to use and find on the old website; I'll keep working at finding my way around the new website and hope they post more opportunitties for collect Brownie Points.

I've search the web site and finally found my brownie points total as I was typing this reply. I can't tell whether I've been getting points daily or not. Matter of fact, I can't find any of my prevously replies.

I am NOT pleased with the new web site. I cannot find ANYTHING on this new site. Do we still have the same old topics which we were comfortable with and could easily find? Where are MEMORIES, is there still a place to submit recipes, what about articles, etc.???Where do we check our Brownie points like we had on the old web site??? I tried to send something four times and each time it was deleted before I could finish it and send it. Also, I tried to save a Nestle recipe and when I went to check if it was in my box, it was NOT and it told me that the last recipe posted was January 2009. What happened to all the recipes I saved from January 2009 to the present time??????? Also it now shows that you can get up to 205 points per day. It shows signing in for 100 points. Is it really 100 or is it 5? I did not see any 5 points listed and if I remember correctly the items listed totalled 250. What do you get 5 points for? I don't dare go to the screen it was listed on for fear this will again disappear. I also don't want to type too much longer for the same fear!!! The old site was much much easier to navigate. You should post some kind of instructions and let people know where things are. It is NOT VERY USER FRIENDLY!!!!!!! I used to love coming on to this site. If things don't improve and I can't find things, guess I won't be coming here very often. I really enjoyed Memories. You get to know the people and they became almost like family. I'm with you, Marie....I can't find much either, and I'm learning very slowly because it takes forever for the VBB pages to load! I thought at first it was just my computer lagging, but other websites seem to move right along for me. I think I can help you with the Baking Memories.....I found them under Shared Stories, right beside Forums at the top of the page. I agree....we were like family in the Memories section. There's always certain folks there that I look for to read their memories. However, I, too, still cannot find how to check or submit swapped recipes. I also looked for a certain recipe I knew I had in My Recipe Box and it is apparently gone! My recipes are a mixed up mess. I wanted to try to organize them better into Categories, but I didn't dare for fear they may disappear on me! I've also had trouble trying to reply to posts and start a discussion. When I attempted to do either last Friday, it kept taking me back to the VBB home page and signing me out. I eventually gave up on that! At least this time they are allowing me to type my post....now I can only hope it goes through after I click the submit tab! Please tell me where you found the points chart to know what you can earn points for!!! I haven't found that yet! No idea yet what we are even earning points for any longer. I did try clicking on the Coupons and Promotions tab one day and then clicking to enter a sweepstake. However, I didn't finish because it said something about taking me to another website that was not Nestle and the Privacy Rules might be different. What's that about?!?! Why can't Nestle have their own contests and sweepstakes like they did before?! I also agree with you....the site isn't very user-friendly anymore. It's difficult to find anything, but I am trying to think positively that VBB will eventually get the bugs worked out so we can once again begin to enjoy this site!!! Am I right, VBB????

I do like the new site. The first time I signed on and saw the new format, I was surprised--but I was pleasantly surprised. I was impressed with the fresh new look and appearance. I agree that it will take a little while to find my way around the site, but that is to be expected when change is implemented. I must admit that I have not experienced many of the problems that others seemed to have encountered. It is actually enjoyable for me to navigate the site, exploring the different options and checking out the new features.

My recipe box is empty and there were several recipes I had saved so I could use them when I was visiting friends and family. The best thing I liked about the old site was the swapped recipes, and I can't find the swapped recipe section either. I am really disappointed with the "new look" and I hope that the old features can be incorporated in the new site or I will not have an incentive to come back.

Where is the free stuff? Where is the monthly desktop calendar? I searched and searched for it and I am thinking the monthly desktop calendar was not apart of new web site. I have given it a few days to try to adjust to the website change.... but it is not user friendly at all! I hope the kinks are worked out before Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

I don't mind the color change... EXCEPT for the print.
Why in the world can't the print be BLACK.

This light blue & gray are very hard for us to see.
Whether it's an age issue or vision issue... I can't be on here very long, it just causes too much eye strain.

I will be happy when PM comes back.

Am I doing something wrong but it would be nice to be able to post a comment without having to click on the last page every time.

Back when Admin. told us about the "BIG CHANGE"...they said we would keep the same avatars...but now we can put basically any picture on our profile that we want.
Will we be able to keep the pictures we have posted...or will we have to go back to the original avatars ??? *****************??
I think my Rotty picture is much nicer than any of the avatars...don't you admin ? LOL...
I'm sure many of us VBB prefer putting our own photo on. Especially we Dog/Cat animal nuts.

I just noticed the new site and think I will like it as long as we can still have the delicious pictures to use. I always used them each month to put up as my desk top picture. Please add them back on, they inspire me to bake!
