Lots of us are unhappy with the new design of the web site.  Does anyone prefer it over the old one?  What do you like better about it?  I hope Nestle is responsive and at least li

I will say that overall I like the new site (at least they way I think it's meant to work.)  The look is very modern, and the site operates, in general, like modern, up to date sites.

Things I don't like (I know you are working on some of these issues):
Having to log in each time.
Errors after every post.
Recipe search is VERY difficult - it's good if you are looking for something very specific, but not if you just want to peruse recipies for ideas.
Can we see more than the 8 or so recipies that appear on the first page?  I don't like when searches yeild many pages for me to scroll through - I'd rather have the option to view more on each page, thereby cutting down on total wiat time.
I'd like to see something more like the old points system in place- having to post somthing really cuts down on the available points per person, and I'm afraid will give more "I was here" posts, just so people get points.  I liked getting credit for reading various things on the site.

Off the top of my head - I think that's it.

I tried to  always sign  out on  the old set up (a   "security" measure) insisted upon by hubb)y; so auto sign out  actualy saves me a step. What irks me is being automatically   signed out   nearly   every time I post a comment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the new look & when not too busy in "my other life" I almost enjoy the" challenge " of trying to learn my way around               this new version Personally I like the font choice set-up on the bottom, it is similar   i the one my gmail uses  & I'm already  quite used to it I ers   Response to Re: Is anyone pleased with the new web site? :

In Response to Re: Is anyone pleased with the new web site? : Nancy:  We are working on a guide to help you and our other loyal VBBers.  In the meantime, the Site Map at the bottom on the page is a good place to start.  What are you looking for?

So far I do Not like the new site. Can't find anything . I really don't care about your points I don't care about getting a prize. I feel like I have gotten a prize every time I find a new tasty recipe. I would like to know what you did with the swapped recipes. I miss them and have gotten many good ideas from them. You have taken all the fun out of this site for me. So sad too bad. I just don't know why you couldn't leave well enough alone. It's the same all the time if it's broke fix it , well it wasn't broke. Did you ever think to ask all the bakers what they might want. You remind me of a politition always do what you want and tough for everybody else. I could go on but will leave it at that. BY BY

THANK YOU for your careful feedback; we're happy to share that you're right, all these issues are being worked on, including the points program.  We're sorry that we couldn't debut with this all in place; we're looking forward to showing you improvement on these every day!

Goodness! I have been trying for the past 30 minutes to get into My Recipe Box and keeping getting a 404 page error.  I tried to contact Nestle on the Contact Us page, but you have to have a UPC code to communicate with them.  I was needing a recipe and couldn't remember the name, but knew I had it in my recipe box.  This site needed a great deal more testing before coming online. Very frustrating for users.

I keep getting the following along with a message about the cupboard being bare when I try to go into some of the pages of my saved recipes. The pages are there, the recipes are not.

I am still having trouble navigating this new site.  I finally see my old points posted.  I had 205 points each day from January 1st through October 4th.  Now I do not see any of the new points I have earned this past week.  Where are these new points?

This website needs to be fine tuned.  The graphics are colorful and attractive, but it is still confusing.

There are pros and cons. The look is nice. I can't find baking articles which I told people about when they asked how to do something. I don't miss the swapped recipes which everyone complained about. I have always loved the stories and memories. So far I haven't looked at my recipe box so I can't comment on that. Signing on each day is a royal pain. I haven't seen anything about earning points (except how many I have)...is that because it is going to go away in the future?
