DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW HOW TO POST PHOTOS?

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW HOW TO POST PHOTOS ON THE SITE? I WOULD LIKE TO PUT SOME UP OF THE MASK I'AM MAKING OR OTHER THINGS. PLEASE WALK ME THROUGH THE PROCESS. THANK YOU SO MUCH

In Response to Re: DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW HOW TO POST PHOTOS? : Ann - are you asking me about the photo of my white Santa?   That's one of my wood carvings.... just plain old basswood (called linden in some places)  I draw a pattern of the front and another of the side ... transfer that to the chunk of wood and cut it out with a bandsaw -- Then start carving. My bandsaw cuts wood 6" thick and has a "throat" of 14 inches.  So most of my carvings are 12 - 13" tall with a base about 5 x 5".

And as I try to read and type this morning dear Badcat wants to be held.  He loves being thrown over my shoulder.  lol lol and he weighs almost 20 lb.  Right now he's spread out in "his" chair - against mine.
And - about avatars - Carol, a lilac is my favorite plant, flower, smell on this earth.

nancy, very nice story of the history of your cats. nancy did you make the santa's? they are beautiful. i lovre to see other peolpes masterpieces. very nice. thank you for sharing. they would make perfect gifts.

I love lilacs, too, Nancy. We have a variety of lilac bushes and they smell so good in the spring when they are in bloom.
Well, I don't know what happened but last night I posted here and attached a photo but it's not here....the post or the photo, that is. And VBB said the error thing would be fixed on Friday, but I am still getting it tonight. Was disappointing though that my post with the photo didn't post because it sure took long enough to attach the photo. I had to try a couple times before it actually showed up in the post in fact. Well, guess I will have to try again another time!

Carol - I'm now living in a little condo and "they" are responsible for the yard.  I can't plant a lilac  :(  The woman next door to me planted a tiny one but it got mowed down..
I'm complaining about lilac shortage but nothing else.  I love my little condo and the people who care for the lawn, shovel snow, things like that, are almost eager to help me with just about anything.  I'm a lucky woman.

My vet appointment is for 4 PM central time ...... Very early this morning I went to the nearby WalMart to buy a new carrier for these big cats.  The carrier I bought when I got the cats last year sure wouldn't hold them now.
I sat the carrier in the kitchen (where I was working so they had to be too) and they love it for play.  We'll see how long that lasts.
But they're such open, friendly, curious, brave cats that I'm not too worried about the trip.

Yes, Pam, I'd enjoy seeing some of your photos, too! Please share! It's not hard to post them here once you get the hang of it. I've posted a few on a couple of other discussion boards. It's fun sharing them with everyone and also fun seeing everyone else's photos!




This one was born from one of the strays that was dropped at our place. It's sad....people are so cruel when they just drop off cats and dogs wherever.

Nancy, she actually wasn't dumped here herself, but was born here from a stray that had been dumped here. And yes, we feed and water the strays....which we were told we shouldn't have done. But it's hard to sit by and watch an animal starve to death. Problem is we can't catch most of the strays or their offspring. If we manage to get ahold of the kittens when they are first born and pick them up and get them used to us, then they are tame. But very rarely can we do that as the mothers have them and don't bring them out where we can see them until they are weeks old. By that time, they are too scared so we can't catch them.
I have a picture somewhere of a beautiful black/brown/white cat. I'll have to see if I can find it and post it sometime. Sadly though, she's one that was hit by a car on our road.
And yes, Sharon, we can't wait to see some of your pictures!!!
