Last night - maybe 8 or 9, I heard a funny noise coming through my open deck door. It was my neighbor's air conditioning!! But I haven't turned mine on yet.
Air conditioning in March!! NEEDED air conditioning!!
When will yours be turned on?

Well last night after cooking it was uncomfortable in here ,way too warm.We opened some windows to cool it down in here.Turned the furnace off.Hubby and son had to work last night and I will not keep the house open while by myself so I had my son bring up our fan.I had it blowing on me all night.

With my oven working my indoor temp is 78* ........ which is funny because outside it's 76. It sure feels warmer in here.

Not until the thermometer reads at least 90 degrees!! We have a great cross wind, and we don't use the A/C very much.

GRANA here;
We went for over 20 years using ourAC only once or twice a year.
The fewrtimes we thought we needed it; was not working til after repairs were made; we useditoneeay & then we no longer needed it!
Thequestion is if ; rather than when we might think we need to turn on ourAC?
We live on the ground floor r, surounded byother units w/ AC turned on so we seldom need to use ours other than for dehumiidifying

We turn it on when it gets too warm for my husband. With the MS he is always warm, hot and the hives come out periodically from the medication he was on for it. It will depend on his situation. Even during the winter we keep it fairly cool for him. I have some flannel shirts with lining from LLBean which I wear because I am always cold.

its been hot here in de 73 made the house hot 83 i don't want to run air yet but the trees are budding then the green will come into the house

The A/C went on upstairs yesterday 3/15. It is beautiful out however we have serious pine pollen flying through the air and it covers every inch of everything if I open windows.

My goodness, I can't believe some of you are hot enough to run the A/C. I'm still using my fireplace in the evening here in northern Los Angeles County. My A/C unit is outside and I still have the cover on it. I probably won't need to use it until the end of June.

I had to self clean the oven last night and it was 87* in here I ran the AC for awhile to bring the temp back down to comfortable.

Verlee - I was on the coast in northern Santa Barbara County ....... it sure was cool there - I wore a jacket on Christmas Day and the same jacket on the 4th of July. I never even saw a house that had an a/c.
I didn't know that LA County ever had weather like that ........ I thought it was warm anytime it wasn't hot. lol
