Hi Barbara!
I saw the cookie card recipe and thought how cute, fun and easy that would be to do for Valentines day with my friends daughters.  I have plenty of decorating candies and icing.  I am going to make them this year and have the girls come over to decorate for their parents.  Thanks for the suggestions!

Look on this website for the "cookie cards" . They are slabs of ready made sugar cookie dough that you decorate to look like cards with chocolate hearts and other valentine decorations. I have made them for my granddaughter's dance team as they always seem to have a competition around Valentines Day. The, girls love them as they are so cute and festive. You could do the same with your own homemade cookiebdough!

I think Im going to make my hubby a type of small wedding cake. He loves wedding cakes and so after baking for my customers all the time he deserves something special. So Im going to do a small 3 tier cake with red and gold dust roses and a special dinner.

In Response to Re: Valentine's Day:
CREAM PUFF CAKE 1/2 CUP BUTTER 1 CUP FLOUR 1 CUP WATER 4 EGGS BOIL WATER AND BUTTER, ADD FLOUR AND FORM BALL.  ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME TILL SMOOTH.  SPREAD IN A 11 X 13 PAN.  BAKE AT 400* FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES. MIX 1/4 CUP MILK AND 8 OZ. CREAM CHEESE TOGETHER.  THEN ADD 2 INSTANT VANILLA PUDDINGS AND 1 1/3 CUPS MILK.  MIX AGAIN UNTIL BLENDED.  SPREAD ON COOLED DOUGH.  TOP WITH 16 OZ. CONTAINER OF COOL WHIP.  THEN TAKE CHOC. SYRUP AND DRIZZLE ON TOP.  This is very yummy and it will remind you of the Cream Puffs from years ago!

My husband will take me out for dinner on Sat. night and on Valentine's Day I
will make him a special dinner.  I think the cream puff cake sounds awesome
and a lot less work than cream puffs. Thanks for the recipe!!!!

I am not sure how I will celebrate but it is my daughter's 30th birthday so I KNOW she will celebrate in style because it is her favorite holiday!

Gale...

Please let me know what you think!  I get 2 pieces of it and my husband eats the rest!  He just loves it!

I agree with you Gale, 13 x 9 recipes are great!  I know I have listed quite a few on VBB.  I think I have some on the thread What is your Favorite Recipe; for Apple Kutchen and Lemon Delight.

I have a apple cake that I make in a 13 x 9 pan that is great!  If you want it, let me know and I will post it for you!

We drink a lot of tea.  I'm going to call in the morning to get a catalog from Celestial Seasonings.  Both teas sound delicious!!!  Thanks.
