CREAM PUFF CAKE

1/2 CUP BUTTER
1 CUP FLOUR
1 CUP WATER
4 EGGS

BOIL WATER AND BUTTER, ADD FLOUR AND FORM BALL. ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME TILL SMOOTH. SPREAD IN A 11 X 13 PAN. BAKE AT 400* FOR ABOUT 25 MINUTES.

MIX 1/4 CUP MILK AND 8 OZ. CREAM CHEESE TOGETHER. THEN ADD 2 INSTANT VANILLA PUDDINGS AND 1 1/3 CUPS MILK. MIX AGAIN UNTIL BLENDED. SPREAD ON COOLED DOUGH. TOP WITH 16 OZ. CONTAINER OF COOL WHIP. THEN TAKE CHOC. SYRUP AND DRIZZLE ON TOP.

This is very yummy and it will remind you of the Cream Puffs from years ago!

That Cream Puff Cake sounds absolutely great. And very adaptable to other fillings and flavors. Since I am a die hard Chocoholic I think a Chocolate Mousse would be wonderful.

Oh, wow - that sounds good. And I second Nikki's chocolate.
It would also be good spread with ice cream and whipped cream, frozen until 15-20 minutes before serving.

My husband travels, so not sure exactly when, but the closest weekend I'll make him a Pecan Pie (his favorite) and we'll probably go out for a dinner without kids. At least our kids are old enough not to get jelous anymore!
On the tea mini thread - I like Honey Mint, which is also great iced (I mix that with green tea and sometimes berry.) Also, can't remember if its Celestial or Bigelow, but one makes a dreamtime with mint. Sooo yummy and relaxing!

Nancy, you just want to use the ice cream in your freezer! I don't know you real well, and not to be morbid but...but I think when you die you will be buried in a big Ice cream vat sprinkled with pecans and coconut.

LOL LOL LOL -- I just got two coupons from Blue Bunny - each for $1 off a carton of ice cream. This morning I drove right by WalMart instead of swinging in to get two more cartons to try to wedge in my freezer.

Here I am - an old single woman wondering if I should buy a second big freezer!!

Speaking of morbid .... when I die the imporant part of me will rise right to Heaven. The rest of me goes straight to Barnes Hospital where the people in med school of Washington U can look around (for the effects of too much ice cream)

I meant the container that Baskin Robbins has in the stores or the size restaurants get. But if you are going to donate for study then a small 1 gallon should do it if you will be cremated. Would burn the coconut and pecans though.
Go ahead and get the small chest freezer. It does not take up much room and they are very energy efficient. They are relatively inexpensive as well.
As far as the effects of too much ice cream, pecans and coconut...they just make you sweet with a sweet heart and a little nutty.
I am sure that there will be Marble and Granite counter tops a Viking Range, a Sub Zero freezer/ Refrigerator combination waiting in Heaven for you. God will put you to work making cookies for the angels.

Hopefully my husband won't be deployed!!! One never knows when the USAF will call!!
Last year I was out in Kansas for 7 weeks from 2/7-3/27 taking care of my sister so I missed Valentines Day completely.

LOL LOL - again!! I don't want a small chest freezer. I want another big upright freezer.
As cold as it is I could just set bags of cookies on the deck and hope the birds don't find them
