Share your holiday tips
I will be making the Turkey's chest because it is just my husband and I for dinner.  I will also be making Potato filling, Copes Corn, baked rolls and for dessert is Pumpkin cookies with icing.&

What is on your Thanksgiving menu?

I will be making the Turkey's chest because it is just my husband and I for dinner.  I will also be making Potato filling, Copes Corn, baked rolls and for dessert is Pumpkin cookies with icing.  I might also make a Pumpkin roll if time allows!

   I will also do a turkey  white meat only ... sweet potatoes , corn stuffing, pumpkin pie..... I am interested in making homemade cranberrie sauce instead of buying it ... does anyone have a good recipe......

Carol S. I do have a cranberry salad that Mom used to make, I know that it is over fifty years old.This is always looked forward to in our family.I always make a big batch,but it could certainly could  be cut in half. 2 bags of fresh cranberries,4 apples,2 oranges,2 large boxes of jello,your choice,I usually use black cherry,2 cups of sugar,2 cups of chopped walnuts.Wash and grind cranberries peel and core apples,grind them.Peel oranges and grind them also.Dissolve jello in two cups of hot water add sugar and disolve this also.Mix this with the ground fruit and add walnuts if desired.Chill until set.My family enjoys this served with cool whip on top.

I am making my moms cranberries its nothing fancy but it reminds me of her at the holidays. She followed the directions on the back of the oean spray cranberry bag in the produce section. its really simple but really good
