I started life in Chicago, IL, then later lived in the Northwest suburbs (Nikki, I lived in Des Plaines and Mount Prospect...) Now I reside in Oshkosh, WI, with no plans of uprooting and moving anywhere else!

The world is small...I worked in Des Plaines for many years, until the office moved to Skokie. Had apartments in Des Plaines and in Mt Prospect. (as well as several other places...as we all know a rolling stone gathers no moss. Settled down in Palatine when I met my husband)

I was born in Ohio then I lived in Pa then NJ from there to where I live now in the great state of Wy Cheyenne is the city.

I live in Colorado now but I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest....Washington State to be exact..I have lived alot of places being married to a retired military man..but I would have changed any of it

Born and raised in Johnstown, PA, moved to Maryland, New Jersey, Massachuttes, New York and presently living in SC. Hubby's job took us to many different places within the states listed.

I was born in Detroit, Michigan, raised in Struthers, Ohio (just outside Youngstown, Ohio), married and moved to Zanesville, Ohio. Then it was on to Lexington, Kentucky and now Pine Bluff and Hot Springs, Arkansas. After this who knows?

Hi NANCY ;Finally someone who has moved nearly as often as me.I have not (yet) found the place I am greatfull to return to.I think if I could still get around it would be NewYork; so much to see & do ( when one's mobility is not limitted)
Same w/ Southern Calilfornia; great weather, scenery, year round fresh produce & places to visit.
Right NOW I enjoy New Hampshire; except for the cold & snow ( when improperly cleared it keeps me homebound); not fun Were it not for taxes; TAXES; TAXES;I would like returning to BOISE, IDAHO; nice people; lovely scenery; temperate/mild weather; a terrific library & 2 excellent Chinese restaurants ( back in 1987) I guess the" secret to hapiness" is finding things to enjoy wherever you are .I try & usualy succeed.... Bad/severe weather conditions make it very difficult to be satisfied; (most especiallly, the failure of well-paid contracters to properly maintain walkways; keeping me housebound means no shopping, no visiting or seeing a doctor when ill; certainly limits the pleasure of living anywhere

I am a third generation Native Californian, but we spent 2 years in Colorado when my husband was in the army. My daughter was born in Colorado, so she broke the chain, but my son was born in California, and two of my grandkids are 5th generation native Californians. I was born and raised in Southern California, but we now live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
