In Response to Re: St. Patrick's Day : It is funny that the Irish seem to have adopted the "traditional" boiled dinner. I've heard that it was English fare, but it does tast so good. My husband, who is Irish never liked it until I made it for him, and now it is a "St. Patty's Day" must. What do you make on Columbus Day?

LOL, we are Italians (well hubby is any way)! I'm "Italian" by marriage. It kind of sneaks into your DNA after a while! Columbus Day we hang our Italian flag, I make a big bowl of homemade meatballs etc. Gotta love the 100% meataballa hubby!!
