I found the remarkable recipe for CRANBERRY NUT BARK right on this site. 
I think it was  Harriet  who posted it for us.  Of course, I can't find it now to put the photo there or say Thank You.

I made it with dried strawberries instead of cranberries and used dark chocolate because I had some that needed used.
Oh, it's GORGEOUS!!  A beautiful candy that tastes even better than it looks.
It's now one of my standard recipes.  Thank you Harriett

lol lol -- laughing at ME.    By now most of you know I get sort of hung up on things .......
well, this is SO good that I'm making it again. 
I'm not using cranberry, I'm not using dried strawberries.

I'm using MARACHINO CHERRIES !!  

Of course - I'm making certain they are as dry as possible

Chocolate and cherries how can you go wrong? 
The cranberry bark is very good.  I made some and added pecans to it.  Made it real healthy, dark chocolate for the antioxidant properties, cranberries also for the antioxidant properties, pecans for the healthy oils.  Who knew that health food could taste so good!

I'm  taking this to church this morning ... with a ton of cookies and other candy.  I'll have some kids distribute this stuff for me and it will be AFTER service - lol.
Because I'ved never seen two-layer bark like this I'm assuming that not too many others have either.  Oh, what a hit it will be. 

I also have that wonderful bark - one layer of white mixed with crushed, hard peppermint candies, broken into pieces and then partially dipped in chocolate.

This site has give me an astonishing bunch of recipes.
