We do not stay up to see the new year in.  No doubt, we will have steaks on the grill.

Eh, Mike has to work.  It will be business as usual both Monday and Tuesday for us.  Monday nights we have big salads and we will be in bed by 10.  Yup, we're old!

Sounds like I am in good company.
I don't think I have seen the New Year in ....I can't recall the last time.
I wouldn't go out just because I don't trust the majority of idiots on the road that night.
I think I will have a nice dinner.  Stuffed pork chops, black eyed peas for luck, a baked sweet potato and a salad.

My husband hates crowds, so we'll stay home as usual.  Much safer than being on the roads with people who've been drinking anyway.

The only real New Year tradition that we carry on is having herring.  The Danish side of the family has been doing this for as long as anybody can remember.  Geez, I better get myself to the store and get some lol.

We spend New Year's Eve at home.  I'll fix a nice dinner, and then we will watch TV or a movie.  Usually I'm in bed by the time the "ball drops in Times Square",  My husband has to wake me up to say "Happy New Year".

It looks as if my hubby and I are in good company with the rest of the VBB community...staying home on New Year's Eve! We don't drink, so we generally stay in on that eve. Sometimes we try to find friends to play games with, but this year it seems everyone is busy. I'll watch a bit of TV and hubby will fall asleep with the remote in his hand. LOL

Having a little New Year's Eve party with the grandkids - having the usual "munchies", chips, little smokies, meatballs, mini cream puffs, and anything else they want!  Wishing everyone a safe and Happy New Year!!

We will be staying home on New Year's Eve. There are too many
drunk drivers on New Year's Eve. We will be going to stepson and
family New Year's Day.

OOOHHHHH That sounds so good. I am not usually a fan of marshmallows on sweet potatoes but the gingerbread flavor sounds good.  If I can't find them at Aldi's when I go today I just may do some of my crystallized ginger.
