To find the "correct"  jelly beans I had to go all over two towns.   I wish I weren't so
complusive  about doing things "right" the first time.

Pastel M&Ms would look very pretty for Easter.  P.S. I doubt that Nestle's would really care.  After all you are using their white chips as a base!!   Sounds good to me.   Have fun with it!!

That bark does look great.  Thanks Nancy!  My grandaughter just drools over white chocolate so I think this might find it's way into her Easter basket. LOL

I think using the pastel M&M's would be great.  I would think that you need to let the white chocolate cool a bit so the coating does not melt.
I would probably add some almonds or some other nut as well.
Thanks for finding the recipe for me.  I will be making this soon....like now!

This candy bark reminded me so much of Spring -- I made some as soon as I saw the photo and recipe.  The colorful jelly beans atop the white chocolate makes for a very attractive presentation.  What a wonderful addition to an Easter basket or candy dish.

I like the idea of M&M's better than jelly beans.  Just as pretty and M&M's are one of my favorite candies.

Jelly beans, Jelly Bellys, M&Ms, any of the pretty colored candies would look great, I'm sure.  Go for it!

Weird, I added a new post here, but I don't see it here.  However, when I check MY VBB it's showing there.  Maybe it will show up later?

There are so many pretty colored candies out there for the different seasons, that I would think that most any of them would work in this bark, or any other candy or cookies calling for Jelly beans or other.

I always make the traditional Almond Bark for Christmas and for Spring I have been making Lemon Bark. Just take some lemon drops,  break them up with a hammer, and add to the melted white chocolate.

P. S.  I think I saw the Willy Wonka jelly beans at Target last week.

All this sounds great. Y'all have some great ideas. But I'm new here -- where do I get the recipe?

Hi Donnna ..... welcome to VBB.  You're going to love it here.
To get the recipe we're talking about, click on this:

I found the correct/called for jelly beans and today I bought some pastel M&Ms.

Donna - what's your favorite made-at-home candy?

on Wed. afternoon or Thursday morning. I can't wait!
