We'll be visiting our daughter, son-in-law and grands in AZ the week before Thanksgiving to avoid the airline stampede over Thanksgiving. Once home, I plan to begin baking and freezing cookies, cakes and maybe even some pies.
The Chicago gang is coming here, along with the PA daughter for the week between Christmas and New Years so I need to have plenty of cookies made ahead.
Definitely will make raisin filled cookies, one of their all time favorites.
Will definitely make some soup and I do freeze my beef barley soup. The slow cooker will come in handy for a week of evening meals, since we'll be on the go during the days.
