A baked pasta dish and/or a crockpot dish are pretty safe dishes to make. Here in Minnesota a jello salad is almost required.
In Response to Funeral dinner at church:
Saturday morning (when I usually do my church cleaning) there will be a funeral at church. Then everyone will leave for the cemetery, then return for a lunch. I'll make certain it's clean before the funeral and clean again after it. BUT -- what shall I take for the dinner? I know I'll take cookies - that is just expected - lol .... but I'll be taking something else too. I usually take broccoli salad but I hope for something different. The rest of the lunch will be egg salad, chicken salad and ham sandwiches .... there will be some spaghetti - other things for people that want something warm. We think we will have between 45 and 75 people - the leftovers will be given to the people who lost a loved one. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
