My original plan for lasagna and the Coconut Chocolate pie may be put on hold.  If all works out I may be moving and I have no idea what state the kitchen will be in.  Either the one I have now or the one I will be going to.  so I am not going to stress about making anything right now.
But if all goes well I will have lasagna and the pie.  Both very easy and stress free.

Nikki - would you like to move?  You said "if that works out" so it sounds like you would.  I'll keep you in my prayers.

I have a master menu for Easter that I made years ago. The desserts are the only things that change. I make jello jigglers jelly beans & they take time to make (I make 5 to 8 flavors), the grandkids are not really into candy, so I might make thumbprints using different jellys, if I can find the pink & yellow toppers, I will do something with them, probably mini cupcakes with green tinted coconut & sprinkle on a few of the toppers. I might do a bundt cake & glaze & top with tinted coconut. I still have to find out how many will be here for dinner, it could be 2 all the way up to 13, but right now it looks like 4.

The BEST thing about Easter is the celebration of our risen Saviour, Jesus Christ.   In Him, we have forgiveness of sins and hope of
life eternal.  What better reason to celebrate?  And, what a delight to spend the day with family and fellow believers!!!!

Hi Diana M -- welcome to VBB.  Lots of us serve our risen Savior and there's a thread where we ask each other to please pray for a personal reason.
And we have lots of fun talking about cooking.  He's with us whatever we do.  Praise His name.

As my husbands health declines I will need more help.  The house we are currently in needs a lot of repairs and it is a two story house with 1 bathroom on the first floor.  There is a house 4 doors away from my s.daughter, it is a ranch house that was built 7 years ago and built handicap accessible.  The week the previous contract fell through was the week that our boiler cracked.  I take that as a sign that it is meant to be my/our house.  If all goes well closing will be April 29th.
Now I have to ask...why does anyone move?  This is a pain.  Packing my 30 years in this house and my husband 67 years.  It is hard.  Great way to get rid of stuff but to go through it all is a nightmare.  I know my stress level will dramatically decline when the move is complete and I don't have to worry about more repairs.

Haven't started yet.  I do Easter every year, along with all the other holidays.  I think my sons are purchasing a cake for Easter.  It is our
46th Wedding Anniversary on Easter Sunday this year.

I cannot believe that Easter is just a few weeks away. It seems that Lent had just started! I am having family and friends for Easter dinner with ham, applesauce, baked beans and a few more side dishes. I will also make a traditional Italian Easter Pie.
