The holidays are fast approaching and I just wanted to share with everyone some useful advice! I do a lot of baking and am familiar with tempering chocolate. Many aren't though and I thought I would share a little info:
While attempting to build a Halloween Gingerbread House with my son for Halloween -As always, within the box, directions for gluing the house together is indicated with white icing (powdered sugar/water). This is great for decorating. For gluing? Not so much. If you're looking for an inexpensive, QUICK alternative, buy melting chocolates! Your gingerbread houses will be standing in just minutes, I PROMISE! =)
