This is an 'old' recipe that my family has enjoyed for many years.
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour; sifted
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans; diced
Cream butter and add sugar. Then add flour and vanilla and mix well. Put pecans in last. With spoon or fingers form walnut-sized balls of dough and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300°F, 30 minutes.
When cookies are almost cool, roll them in powdered sugar.
