Elsa -- now, what's wrong with chocolate covered potato chips?
I'd just melt some chips and dip away.
White chips would be good too ........................................

Chocolate dipped potato chips are delicious!! The ruffle type holds the chocolate better. The salt and chocolate go together somehow and it is very good!

Just wanted to let evryone know that the grandkids did a wonderful job baking Xmas cookies for our family.  Christmas day was very busy at our house, the grandkids were all home from college and we had wall to wall people.  Everyone helped in the kitchen to get the turkey and ham and all of the goodies to go with our meal.  We all sat down to eat at noon and gave our thanks to God for a wonderful year.
My rehab is doing well, I am now using a walker and getting around very well.  Thanks for everyone's well wishes and prayers.  Wish everyone a HEALTHY HAPPY NEW YEAR.     GOD BLESS.

Yes!!  Thanks to God for a wonderful year - Praise His name.
Sometimes when I'm baking cookies I remember to thank Him for that ability, that money, that great oven.

I made sugar cookies with a cherry in the center yesterday. Today I made a pecan pie a sweet potato pie and now another attempt at cheesecake. Last one leaked out of pan so had to put it in a different pan. Now have another spring pan and hope this one works. Fingers are crossed. Have my blackeye peas cooking in crockpot. They sure smell good. Have some snicker doddles to make but that will be another day.
Someone gave me a box complete with everything to make them.
Happy New Year
