It is wonderful to hear that.  So many young people do not want to be seen with there own parents because it is not cool!  Plus most of them have such nasty mouths and attitudes.  Last week at the Lion's Club Carnival we had a 21 yr. old make the French fries and was he polite and respectful.  We all shared laughs and it was refreshing to see a young person enjoy being with older ladies!    It was just great!

So, that is wonderful to hear that your Grandsons wants to spend time with you!  I bet you are proud!

Sunday I will be picking up our Lobster Bakes for Labor Day.  I was impressed with the price; for $17.00 each, the bake includes: 6 oz. Lobster tail, 12 clams, carrot, onion, potato, sweet potato and corn on the cob.  Then I will be baking my Choc. Sour Cream Cake with a Butter Cream icing.  Yum Yum!! :')

This sounds so good! I always have to buy and make clams for myself these guys don't like them.My brother used to have clam bakes but not anymore.

Happy labor day,to you also.We are going to have Italian sausage sandwiches with peppers and onions,potato salad,corn on the cob and watermelon.I might make some sort of crepes with a fruit filling and whipped cream on top.I'll make the crepes tonight and store in the frige until tomorrow.

My son is a high school math teacher.  Teaches AP Math.  They started school two weeks before Labor Day.

Looking forward to Fall, but not to winter with the ice and snow.  Last year I fell in our driveway and fractured my wrist.  Went down to get the newspapers and got about a foot away from the garage door and slipped on some black ice.  That was in February.  Then had one knee replacement in June and the other one done in November.  Was a fun year.  One of my sons lives about an hour away and he was a big help.  Needed help with my husband's MS.  My other son lives four hours away.  He came several weekends to help too.  Thank God!!!
