The expected high today was supposed to be 93, we are well over that right now at 99. Only good thing is that once in a while there is a little cooler breeze. I really hate to think of what we can expect next month!

HUMIDITY 53%= UNCOFORTABLE .

The AC may get turned on tonight; first use since it was installed last year...had it fine tuned inJUNE; just in case!?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we finally got some rain this morning and lots of "drama" in the form of thunder and lightning. High today was in the lower 90s. Should go down a bit tonight with more thunderstorms headed this way. I wouldn't mind if we got a nice soaking, since the ground is still parched, but I sure could do without the drama lol. Lightning and thunder make me very nervous especially when we lose power like a few years ago when our basement was flooded.

At 0500 hrs it is 67' high, today to be 86'' maybe the hot spell is broken? I sure hope so : we're out of ice cream & less than a dozen peaches are left!I'm sure the temp will rise again before August but a break wil be nice for awhile

The usual Florida summer time weather--hot, humid, mid 90's today. Praying for a sea breeze.

Leaving next week to go from one hot box to another---DH and I are going to visit our DD where the temps have been in the triple digits pretty much all summer.

Sunday...1:38 p.m.....87 degrees....supposed to rise to 93......tomorrow they say it will be 99 OR MORE! Some rain in sight; but it will not be enough. Ground is rock solid and nearly everything that was planted is dying! Just watch our grocery prices rise sky high before long!
