WOW Everbody has dropped this question. Here in middle Georgia it is 57 deg this morning and a bit cloudy. Tomorrow is the shattering winter entry. It is calling for FREEZING in the morning. Oh what a shock to the system here. I have the blankets out, on the bed, the heat is checked and the shock of higher power bills has settled. I have been saving up in a special account to cover warmth factor.
I have now been designated as catastrophic so at least the worry has been relieved. The benefits are much higher through Workers Comp plus the difference check from Social Security so my health insurance is covered after workers comp pays first. The best thing is NO MATCHING FUNDS OR deductables through working. So everyone please have a great day on me. Take care and keep warm...

Cold here-- getting ready for a light snow. i am from Maine originally but have been in Indiana most of my adult life (25 years and counting) I've been colder here han Iw as in Main, but haven't seen six feet of snow in a winter!

so I'll take Indiana!

We have 6 inches of snow and it has just startied again. The temp was 4 this morning.
No sun today. Kids are busy making snow men for the yards. The street are really icey.

Did some shopping today. No way near what Judy experienced! Warmed up to a balmy 24 by the time I left the house around noon. Up from a 0 at 7 in the morning. Right now it is 16 but it is supposed to get into the 40's on Monday and 50 by Wednesday. Have a bit more to do outside. Got my mulch placed just have to give everything another good watering before I put the hose away for the winter. I just hope everything makes it through the winter. I know I should have done this during the summer but I did not have any help until now. So better late than never!

Even with all this below freezing weather, I"m still picking lettuce from my garden. I thought surely after the 12 degree nights (2 of them) the lettuce would be toast. Not so, it keeps on going.

After a warm early winter the temps are dropping to more typical winter levels: right now; 0455 hrs( 31 ' ) & that might be the high for today?
Temps later this eek & weekend to be in the 20's but no snow; so 'll take it w/a smile & an extra blanket
