Where do you all live that you all have 70/80* this time of year. We had a wintry mix last night now we're getting more snow. Brookville & surrounding area schools were canceled Monday 2/22/2011. I'll have to check & see if any school today. I got up yesterday morn turned on TV they said no school. So I told my Granddaughter she said yeah then went back to sleep. So I went back to bed. Then later when she woke up she said darn it I missed the Book Fair at school today. I said I don't think that they had a Book Fair sense there was no school, but that they might reschedule the Book Fair for another day. I just thought that it was funny that at first she said yeah then she was mad, because she missed the Book Fair. LOL

Today 02/24/2011, it is 57 with a high of 71 espected in SE AR - of course rain, storms and svere weather are expected this afternoon.

In Hot Springs, AR it's 34 this morning with a high of 70 expected.  Not bad.

Yesterday, Feb. 27th, was warm, high of 81, sunny and quite pleasant.  Today is supposed to be much of the same!!  I ♥ NC!!

Overcast, blah, a thin coat of ice over just about everything.
Can't wait for a bit of sunshine.

With the time change on the 13th and Spring starting on the 20th we should be in for some longer, warmer days.

Driving home from working out I pass through an area that has Forest Preserve.  The trees are beautiful with that thin light glaze of ice.  The sun shins on the ice and the trees sparkle.  Does not last long obviously but nonetheless beautiful.  If I could decorate a cake with as fine a hand as God does with the trees I could make a fortune.  The beauty is such a fleeting thing though, I wonder how many take the time to enjoy it.

It's Feb. 28, 2011 in Southern California and cold. We had snow on Saturday for the second time this year, which is highly irregular. At 8:30 this morning on my way to Pilates, it was warming up to 42 degrees (that's still cold for here!).
