http://silksoymilk.com/content/cooking-soy Here is the site to silk milks, there are plenty of recipes and they explain why the milk is not suitable for making instant puddings. They do however have recipes for even making your own pudding from scratch using the non dairy milks.

I just tried another brand of almond milk,Silk Soy and Almond Rule, these seem to be a lot creamer than the others that I have tried.I really do enjoy just drinking these as compared to cow's milk.It is very filling and I eat less.My son likes the alternative milks also,he likes the vanilla and chocolate.Hubby is unwilling to even try, this is typical. lol! I did see some benefits from the soy milk and tofu that I ate during the "M" word, when I didn't add it to my diet I suffered. When we order Chinese I will often get the family style tofu with Chinese vegetables.I cook a lot for my family but as I'm getting older I find myself not even wanting red meat.

I'm lactose intolerant.  Haven't tried soy milk, but use Lactaid milk.  Use it for everything.

I tried it a year ago!  Love the almond taste!  I just can't seem to justify the cost!  The shelf life is also great too!

I have never tried soy or almond milks.  My great niece who is a vegan uses the almond milk.  I am lactose intollerant, so I use non-fat lactose free milk.

Aldi's carries almond milk original and vanilla flavored.I bought the original and it was very good. The cost was $2.49 a half gallon this is cheaper by a dollar or more than the big name brands.

I tried coconut milk from the dairy case,if you haven't bought any DON'T it's terrible.I thought it would be good and it's not.I like the unsweetened almond milk 40 cal.per 8 oz.serving and only 1 gm.carbs and  no lactose. It has a lot of calcium which is great,I'm not a big milk drinker. This is very creamy like reg milk.

The first time someone suggested soy milk I was skeptical, but today that is all I drink and use in my cereal.

I started using soy milk to see if it would help with hot flashes.  Both my sister and I seem to think it helps.  I only use it on cereal and use regular skim milk for drinking.

Not able to use soy milk due to allergy situation.  I need to check out the almond milk.  If there is no soy, I may want to try that!
