I love having leftovers to eat the next day.  I hate having to cook every day for dinner after working all day.  So I would end up picking up something "quick".  But leftovers going in the microwave are just as fast & much better for me.

Tonight  I had left over spaghetti (had been in a plastic bag in the freezer) and a good fresh salad.
That's the end of my frozen spaghetti so I'll have to make some more.
The spaghetti sure gets dry - wish I knew how to prevent that.

Fran, I'm with you!!  I call them planned overs too.  Alot of time I prepare dinner knowing that it  will be another meal too.  For instance I will buy a rotisserie chicken at Costco knowing that it will provide us with two dinners, and extras for chicken wraps for lunch.  I think since there are only two of us, I rarely prepare a dinner that doesn't  give us a least a portion for another night.

In Response to Re: Left Over For Dinner?:
We have left overs often.  The economy is bad and I can not tolerate wasting anything, especially food.

Fran...

I agree with you!  Also with the way food prices keep going up, I will not be throwing away food!
