The store had Pompeian vinegar on sale (40% off) & I had 8 coupons ( each $ 1.00 off) so I bought 8 bottles of wine vinegar for less than the regular price of 1 bottle.

If you have your own bags with you at Target your total is reduced five cents per bag  you use. The samething is true at Lowes Foods.

They are slightly dented.

I always use coupons and try to purchase when I have coupons and items are on sale.  I also swap with my brother and my sister in law.  Love to see how much I can save every time I go shopping.  Our store gives a print out at the bottom that tells you how much you have saved to date for the year.  Love it!!!

I use coupons whenever I can. I have found that all stores do not
take internet coupons also. Some times store brands are cheaper than
using coupons also. Store Brands are just as good anyway.

Some stores have a policy that if you purchase the store brand and you do not like it they will refund your money and give you another product to try. Aldi's, a no frills store has that policy and I have yet to find a product I have not liked.  Aldi's is owned by the same family that owns Trader Joe's so I figure there is not much difference in the Trader Joe's house brand and Aldi's house brand.  I doubt they would find to providers for the same product, they must use one and use two different labels.

I paid 3.00 (three dollars) for 89 ounces of Simply Orange Juice . It usually sells for 6.89 or higher for 89 ounces.

Mary, I think you just have to look a bit harder.  Some of the bargain items are moved to the side or back of the store.  Shop low or high on the shelves and avoid end caps.  Quite often end caps have higher priced items and higher priced items are at eye level.

I have also found that mid month or the start and end of the month are great times to get things in the meat department as the sell by date gets closer many stores will reduce items to move them before they have to be tossed.  Take these items home and freeze them.  Ground beef can be browned and frozen.  And the best is a pound of cooked frozen ground beef takes up less room than a pound of raw ground beef.

The reductions in most stores are  early morning usually  around 10 A M  or earlier. Harris Teeter has Vic specials that begin Friday. Some are Saturday Only Specials. Lowes' Grocery Store has Friday thur Sunday Specials. You must be registered with the stores card thur your computer to receive them. At Lowes' and Target you receive  a nickel for each personal bag you use.

I stop at Stop & Shop and this past week I saved $59.76 using coupons and using my S&S card.  I also spent enough to get a $100 gift card and spent enough to get a 5% off coupon which is good until May 24th at S&S.  As I said, I always buy with coupons and buy items when they are on sale.

It is great to find markdowns and they are just as good as regular priced items.  I find meat and baked goods marked down the most times.
