GRANA here;
 Today hubby spent $22.14 on GROCERIES
hubby got 2 pt botles of salad dressing ; since we'll be eating more  salads now that the weather is warming up
 2 cans of chicken broth( low soium; for those cold chilly days we are still getting
 a loaf of sliced bread
 1/2 gallon of milk
A bunch of bananas
 a bag of red delicious apples
 one ripe large slicing tomato   for burgers & grilled cheese for other sanddwches
 2 -2oz dark chocolate  chocolate bars( 10 pieces each )
several Greek yogurt cups &  2 pkg ( 8 ct each) of tubes of yogurt to freeze ( ice cream sub for me  & 10 single serve ice cream cups for himself
more sliced baloney &  pkg of sliced cheese singles..
 He spent $30 a few days ago& got Danish pastry, bagels, 40 oz jar of brands name PB can soups re making our  total al this week $52 bdget is t $50 I had used over $10 in coupons &  got marked down items
He bought  frozen pkgs of  Chinese meals so  that even though   we paid for them for  out of the grocery budget we will save o our food  (OUT)out budget by eating at home rather than take- out.
I make a one serving pkg serve 2 & a 2 serving pkg erve 4, by adding extra veggies   &starting meals off w/a ginger chicken soup & a homemade Japanese cucumber salad.
The fresh gnger root &  some Asian veggies ( yellow bell pepper Now diced&  julienned in the freezerI called the mfr of these Asian enrees w/ compliments  &  will be receiving coupons soon...They really are good; not as ood as takeout but cost 1/4 as much as takeout and are easier to make ten from "scratch" and better than my oemade memad.Imake good rice soup & salads I am able to showoff my cooking skills w/o tiring myself out ; eat well lower sodium & save money by  combining frozen &  from sratch dishes Cool

One of the stores by me has Pork Ribs, buy 1 get 2 free.  My husband had never been a fan of ribs but I figure with the free ones they can go in the freezer for me and I can do some burgers or pork chops for him.
I happen to love ribs so that will be a stop for me today before the sale is over.
No plans for the 4th so I will do them for the weekend when I can cook them long and low for the best flavor.
