I don't know if this falls into the "bargain" category or not.
My absolute favorite salami (Volpi Genova Salami) is on sale.  I plan on getting 1/4 pound and making myself 2 sandwiches this weekend.
I have some roasted red peppers I have the condiments I like all I need is the salami and the cheese.  I think I will get a smoked provolone.
I will pick up bread.  The same store has their fresh baked French bread for $.99 a loaf.  I can't make a bread for that price.

Two twelve packages of Coke products were on sale Saturday only for 1.97 each. I used a Coupon for a free package and only paid 1.97 for one twelve package.

In one of my stores if I bought 6 lean Cuisine frozen meals for $2 each I got a free Edy's ice cream.  Can't say 1/2 gallon anymore, but it was the former 1/2 gallon size.  Hubby doesn't cook, but can put stuff in the MW if I'm not around to cook for him.

If you receive one set of coupons in your Sunday paper you can always go on line and download coupons from Red Plum or Smart Source if you have a printer. Most public libraries have printers and computers for public use also. Library membership is free.

The day before the sales start check out the reduced produce rack in your store.  I have found that is a good day to look for the produce that they are moving out to make room for the new stuff.  Found packages of red peppers, about 6 in a pack for $1.00 a pound of mushrooms $1.00 (2 8 ounce packs wrapped together)

Bargains seem to be few and far between.  I try to combine a store's sale price with a manufactrer's coupon whenever possible.

And of the $227 worth of coupons I pulled out one $.55
I do so much of my shopping at Aldi's that almost anything that I would want to use a coupon for I can get at Aldi's for less.
Also since my husbands fall I have been trying to clear out the freezer so I really have not been doing much shopping.  Sort of nice to see open spaces in the freezer.
