I try to always use coupons and check the websites for match ups before shopping.  Also buy produce on the discount table but it is harder to find now that winter is approaching.  Always check to see if there is meat on clearance too...freeze it immediately so I can use it later.  If we get a good deal on ground beef, I cook up the entire pkg, and then freeze after cooling in fridge.  Then just defrost quick for use in casseroles, tacos, chili, stroganoff, and of course quick meat spaghetti sauce.

Today I was going to buy a pork roast and decided to wait for this weeks sales on Thursday.I did however buy pickles for $1 a jar and they marked down organic whole turkey breasts for .99 cents a pound so I bought two of them and threw them in the freezer. That was a super buy! They also marked down the Christmas candy 50% off so I bought 4 box'es of cherry cordials.

Today's great buys were a big tub of sherbert, and two packages of ravioli for 99 cents each.  I would've bought more ravioli but they only had two left, bummer.  It's always hit or miss on the last day of the sale.  Also got a 5 pound bag of red potatoes for 99 cents, although that's what the 10 pound bags used to cost lol.

Wal-mart has a wagon where there is brad, rolls, muffins, etc. marked down.  We always head for that area.

I had 5 coupons for 50cents off Chex Mix,the chex Mix were 5/$10 they doubled the coupons making them 5/$5 and for buying the 5 bags I got a coupon for $3 off my next shopping bill. That is like getting 5 bags of chex mix for $2.I'm getting my shopping list made out for next week and it looks like I will be saving even more $ and getting more $ off my gasoline.I never pay full price for gasoline with the credits we get for shopping in our area store. We have even had quite a few free tanks of gas.We fill our prescriptions there and that is included in the deal. For every $50 spent you get 10 cents off a gallon and they have bonus items.just buy the items featured and you recieve even more gas points.I love It !

Lucky you getting $1 coupons doubled.  My stores only double up to $1, except Hy-Vee.  They don't double.

Some of you are lucky with the double coupons, our stores double to $  .50 & limit 1 of an item (a second coupon for same item is not doubled, but a different flavor etc. is). I did get a bargain this weekend, evaporated milk was on sale & with the two coupons ($  .50 off 2 cans) I saved $4.00, I had 2 buy 2 low fat to get the second coupon doubled (reg. price $ 1.49 x4=$ 5.96 on sale for $ .99 x4=  $ 3.96 minus $ 2.00=4 cans $ 1.96.  I hope hubby won't be able to tell the difference when I make him the mac & cheese.

So glad I went shopping Wed. I bought 3 cans of Libby pumpkin (exp date Mar. 2014) for $ .80 each, Keebler graham crust for $ .54 each (exp. date Aug 2012 so I only bought 3), Campbell tomato soup was on sale for $ .59 & I had a $ .40 coupon off 3 cans so that made it 3 cans for $  .97, I bought 6 cans & was surprised when the cashier doubled my second coupon (she said what the heck, you shop here all the time) I had a few coupons that were expiring this weekend that I was not going to use so I gave them to her & she said she had 2 rainchecks that would go with 2 of the coupons that she planned to use when she got off work , also bought SOS soap pads 18 count for $ 2.09 price marked $ 4.19 (I bought 3, I usually use 1 a month)
