I buy in quantity when things are on sale and I also have coupons. Get a lot of good buys this way. I put a lot of items in the freezer. Also items no longer being offered, as H.M. said. There are a lot of good bargains there and the dates are long. I have quite a bit of storage space in cabinets and in the freezer. However, if I am stocking up on dry goods, peanut butter, jelly, etc. I make certain they have long dates since they will not all be used right away. Marked down fruits and veggies are good to purchase for a variety of things, soups, stews, banana bread, etc.
Some store personal do not understand coupons. I have used customer service if/when I encounter trouble with a coupon.
Seedless Grapes are 99 cents a pound this week. Plus use coupons.
