Okay so i loveee to eat healthy , but of course i just lovee to bake! Of course when i bake something i just have to try it! Well since spring i've been baking a lot!, which has made me gain a few pounds! :( So now when i bake i substitute oil for applesauce, egg for egg substitute, sugar for truvia, but for butter? I mean you really can't substitute it can you? I've tried using extra applesauce and the texture is off. I love trying new healthy recipes, but i also love to splurge every once in a while. If you have any ideas, just let me know :)

If you do not like the texture when replacing applesauce for the butter try using 1/2 applesauce and 1/2 butter. I would suggest draining the applesauce for a bit to make it a little denser.
In some recipes also try mashed banana rather than applesauce.
Also try the Greek style 0 fat yogurt for sour cream it works well and no one will notice.
Increase the flavorings to increase the flavor that fat helps to carry, so if the recipe calls for 1 teaspoon add 2 or 3 teaspoons.
