In Response to Re: BLUEBERRIES; YUMMY&GOOD FOR YOU TOO!:
slightly different but inthesamevein: One year , as an educatinal idea; hubby&Iplanted corn in the same way as the pilgrims did, as taught by the native Ameicans . We put a dead fish into each hole before planting the seeds. The stalks grew wondrously tall & fast .I had hopes of a summer of great corn to feed our familyy .Each day I would check the progress on the stalks...One day there were many 6" corns on the stalks Each day here ere moret & they were getting bigger. p lanned a menu around fresh corn & the next day went out to harvest some for our dinner. YIKES ! no corn.I never ried to grow corn again; it was jus to difficult to grow Years later our younger son askde hy e never grew corn again?..It was so delicious!Kevin, next door neighbor boy & I loved to eat them when they were about 6" long, so sweet & tender!. Wether berries, candy or corn;kids just enjoy w/o thinking of the consequences " KIDS WILL BE KIDS "

Hi Ann. I'm back. I was ill for 2 months or so. Not weak anymore. Still working on some issues. Bood work not done yet.
Thank you for the vital info on Blueberries. I love them by the handfuls, in muffins. Yum, so good. I think I'll add them to my shopping list today! You are a great Marketing/Sales person for the Blueberry Industry!
What happened to the corn? It was not there the next day?
Have a Great Week-end.
