This site has many decorated pumpkin cookie recipes ....... they are perfect for a bake sale.
Just type "pumpkim cookies" in the block above and you'll find many.

Cupcakes with Halloween decorations or a fall theme.I think the best bake sale items are those that can be picked up in your hand and eaten, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cake pops, anything made in a mini muffin pan.Kids of all ages like to eat them as soon as they are bought or on the ride home. This is the way my boys always were and me too!Embarassed

There are a few recipes that I have posted and may be in my recipe box.  Just click on my name or picture and go to my recipe box.
Carmelita Bars are wonderful for this time of year, my Grandson would eat them every day given the chance.  It is a layer of oatmeal based mixture topped with caramel and chocolate chips nuts if you like then another layer of the base mixture crumbles on top.  They are great.
I think I have the recipe for Pumpkin Bread in there as well it makes 3 loaves.

If you can find a recipe for Whoopie Pies that would be a sure winner.  There is a great recipe for them at http://www.kingarthurflour.com after all who does not like whoopie pies.

If you are feeling ambitious the Pumpkin Roll cake that is on this site would also be a great seller.  Because of the work involved I would price it pretty high or even better raffle it off or a silent auction.

the Raz-Ma-Taz bars on this site are great as well.
I think that bar cookies are the way to go.  Easy clean up and easy to package.

good luck, if you do not find the recipes let me know and I will post them again or private message me and I will email them to you. (just click on the little Contact Nikki P at the bottom of the post.)

How did the sale go?   What did you make?  I like things you buy as a single item to eat right away.  Then if I liked it, I can buy more to take home. Laughing
