Go look at Nestlé's recipe for Tiger Butter.    It's so very, very good ..... so fast and so easy to make.   No heat in the kitchen!! I've never met anyone who didn't

Nikki, thanks for the chicken recipe.  I've just printed it off.  Sounds wonderful.  I'm always trying to think of something to do with chicken.

Thinking back on when I made it  I thought it could use a bit of spice/heat.  I made a note on the bottom of the recipe to add some red pepper flakes next time I make it. This would also be good with a red pepper, an onion and maybe a jalapeno pepper sliced up and cooked with the chicken.  I know I have just changed the recipe but since I made it the "correct" way first I can play with it the next time.

I made the 1/2 recipe of  tiger butter Saturday using the pb chips mixed w milk choc chips , jiff x-crunchy
as nikki says  it was stupidly easy it was also very , very sweet  so I used the dark choc chips for the top part
it is still too sweet       also  if I keep it in the fridge    I can't bite thru top part  and if I leave it out  there's more on my fingers than I get in my tummy

Nellie, I think the semi sweet chips are a bit firmer than the milk chocolate ones so I did not have a problem with it being too soft.
The semi sweet are a little less sweet (duh!) than the milk chocolate so although it is sweet I find it not overly sweet. (It is a candy after all.) I think it is even a little less sweet than fudge.
I even used a bit more peanut butter so I expected it to be real soft and it wasn't.  I had it in the refrigerator to begin with but like you said it gets rather firm.  So I left it out and it did get softer but not so that it melted all over but I did do a bit of licking my fingers after a piece..or two..or three..;)

the milk choc were already mixed w the pb chips when I bought them
and it's the dark choc on top that melts on my fingers
