 i saw on t.v. they said to save your halloween candy in the freezer.i will do this with the snickers and some other good bars. i use them cut up in brownies,special bars.I also peel and freeze h

   that sounds good. you could use them in cookies as well.Thank God for grandsons and sons, you are right they do eat everything.it is my way to relax as well....happy baking.

I also save my candy for baking. I love the flavor candy bars add to fudge and cookies.

As I type I have brownies baking ..... brownies made with a layer of chocolate covered mints.  I can't wait to see how those turn out.

I stopped buying candy because I never have  kids come by any more.  But I used to carry "leftovers" to work.  I set them out on a counter & in a short time they were all gone :)

I save the left over Halloween candy for gingerbread houses....Tootsie Rolls make excellent split rail fences!!
