Melt 1/2 c. peanut butter with 1 c. butterscotch morsels
Stir in 4 c. rice krispies.  Press 1/2 of it into a buttered 8 x 8 pan.
put in fridge while making the chocolate.

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips with 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 2 T butter and 1 T water.
Spread over the krispies that are in the fridge.  Top with the remaining krispies, pressing them firmly.
Keep in fridge.  if you try to cut them before they've been in too long they will cut easier as the chocolate gets hard.

Enjoy!

Be still my heart....anything with peanut butter will make its way into my kitchen.  I like that this looks like it is not quite as sticky sweet as a regular rice krispy bar.  I will let you know how the vote goes when my Grandson and I make them next week.

This is a forgiving recipe.  I never measure my peanut butter as I don't like to clean the measuring cup.  I drop a glob in the pan and say it looks like 1/2 cup.  Never had a problem.  One hint-- put the peanut butter in the center and the butterscotch chips around the edge as the chips take a bit longer to melt and you could burn the peanut butter.
