This is an easy no-bake recipe that uses my favorite ingredient, Nutella! It is very rich so best served in small ramekins. Also be aware that the small Nutella containers are 13 oz, so you'll need more than one for the 15 oz called for in this recipe.

Ingredients

15 ounces Nutella

7.5 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped

1 cup whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup sugar

5 large egg yolks

Directions

1. In a large heatproof bowl, combine the Nutella and bittersweet chocolate.
2. In a medium saucepan, bring the milk, heavy cream and sugar to a boil, whisking constantly until the sugar is dissolved. In a medium heatproof bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Gradually whisk in half of the hot cream. Whisk the egg-and-cream mixture into the saucepan and cook over moderate heat, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the custard coats the back of the spoon, about 4 minutes (will read 170-175 F on a digital thermometer). Pour the custard over the chocolate and let stand for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
3. Microwave for 1-2 minutes to ensure complete melting. The bowl should be very warm, almost hot to the touch. Don't over-microwave or it will scortch!
4. Pour the mixture into eight 4-ounce ramekins and refrigerate until chilled, about 4 hours or overnight.

Thanks for the recipe Thomas,  sounds great!  Now if I could just keep a jar of Nutella long enough to make it lol.

Just in case you run out of Nutella there is a recipe on this site that comes pretty close.  It is as simple as melting chocolate chips and add in peanut butter or any nut butter.  I have tried it an it is really pretty good and much less expensive than a jar of Nutella or some of the other chocolate spreads.  To change it you could probably play with the chips, white chocolate, cinnamon (if they are still made) or butterscotch.  Then you can change the nut butter, soy nut, peanut, cashew, hazelnut, almond.  Possibilities are almost endless.

Thomas, thanks for another great recipe.  I happen to have cream in the refrigerator from a Peanut Butter pie I made this past Sunday.  I don't have Nutella but I will make this sites version of it and let you know how it is.  Now I will have to make Macaroons as well to use the egg whites. I now have a busy weekend
