In Response to Italian Love Cake:
1 chocolate box cake mix, 4 cups ricotta cheese,3/4 cup sugar,1 teas. vanilla, 4 eggs, 1 3.9oz box instant chocolate pudding ,1 cup of milk , 1 12oz.container frozen whipped topping thawed. Preheat oven to 350* Prepare cake mix according to directions on the box.pour into a greased 9x13 cake pan,set aside.Blend together well the ricotta,sugar,eggs and vanilla.Pour evenly over the cake batter and bake for 70 min.for a glass cake pan and 90 minutes for a metal pan.When baked allow to cool completely.Mix the pudding mix and milk until thickened and fold into the thawed whipped topping and spread evenly over the cooled cake.Refrigerate for 6-8 hrs.Serve and enjoy.The ricotta will sink into the middle of the cake while baking.
