Waiting for both of my sons to arrive for Easter Brunch, and a Ham Dinner later in the day. It's overcast and cool here in southern California, but with my sons here it's a great day!

In Response to Re: HAPPY EASTER:
Nikki: I wish you had suggested making Carrot Cake for dessert earlier!!! What a great idea. I was trying to come up with something different for dessert this year and decided upon Rhubarb Pie. However it took me driving around town for 3 days to all our grocery stores and markets to find fresh rhubarb. I finally found some...that pie better taste out of this world! I'll remember carrot cake for next year.

I was running around trying to get things done this morning and I left to bring some things to my sisters house before going to my daughters and I remembered to bring the wildlife food for the birds and squirrels, the hummingbird food for my sister for her hummers  and I remembered an autographed jersey for my daughter but I forgot the carrot cake! So I have a carrot cake sitting in my refrigerator.  I will not eat it this week so most likely it will get brought to my niece at work.
Oh I just tried it...not great but the frosting is real good.  So maybe the critters will get an extra treat this week.  I have so much to do before the close on the house and the move on Saturday.
