I found the other recipes for peanut butter fudge that I was looking for the other day when I posted the one I had on hand.  Here are 2 more.
Chocolate Peanut butter Fudge
3 Cups sugar
2/3 Cup cocoa
1 1/2 Cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 Cup peanut butter
Grease and line a 13X9 pan.
In a heavy sauce pan combine the sugar, cocoa, milk.  Cook, stirring constantly to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and the peanut butter.
Pour into prepared pan.

This next one is a bit easier, no temp to worry about.
Peanut butter Fudge
2 Cups sugar
1/2 Cup milk
1 1/3 Cup peanut butter
1 jar, 7 ounces marshmallow creme (fluff)
Grease and line a 8 inch square pan.
In a sauce pan bring sugar and milk to a boil; boil for 3 minutes.  Add peanut butter and marshmallow creme; mix well.  Pour into prepared pan; chill until set. Cut into squares.

Hope one of these fills the peanut butter fudge urge.

Sharon ... I've been thinking about your daughter.... and you, of course. Please remember, when you have time, to keep us informed about your dauhter - especially Nov. 30. A few years ago when I was having a scary surgery my Internet woodcarving friends (USA, Canada, England and Australia knew exactly what time (in their time zone) when that surgery would start.  They lifted up prayers when my surgery was starting.  It worked - God heard and my surgery was an incredible success. So - please let all of us know those details and we can start a timely prayer for her.

Surgery is now Tue Nov 22 at 1030am Nancy.

Thanks so much for sharing!  One of my most favorite fudge recipes is one that I asked a gal who works with my husband for. Her momma passed away when she was just 20 years old and passed on the fudge recipe.  I asked her for it one year and I got a copy of the hand written recipe. Truly awesome! I will ask if it is okay if I share. Innocent

Nancy,  To answer your question from a few posts back...My favorites right now are Sticky Ginger Squares, a great bar cookie.  Cranberry Almond Pound Cake, the most heavenly scented cake ever to grace my kitchen and last but not least Outrageous Brownies, the most decadent brownie ever to cross my lips.
It is very strange that there is only one chocolate recipe listed and I am a "die hard chocoholic".
I do like to say that I have yet to find my "favorite" recipe because I do like to try new ones and as I discover new ones they become favorites.
So ask me on the day I die what is my favorite and I MIGHT be able to give you an answer.

Nancy, the recipe for the Outrageous Brownies:
By the way sit down and hold onto your purse strings while you read this.  Although if I remember you have a stock pile like I do of most of these ingredients.
Outrageous Brownies
1 Pound unsalted butter
1 pound PLUS 2 Cups semi sweet chocolate chips, divided
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
6 extra large eggs
3 Tb instant coffee powder
2 Tb vanilla extract
2 1/4 Cup sugar
1 1/4 Cup flour Divided
1 Tb baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
3 Cups diced walnuts
In a medium bowl toss walnuts, the 2 Cups of chocolate chips, and the 1/4 Cup flour.

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour a 13X18 pan (half sheet pan) or you could use a jelly roll pan the brownies will be thicker so watch time.
Melt together the butter, chocolate chips (the 1 pound) and unsweetened chocolate on top of a double boiler.  Cool slightly.  Stir together the eggs, instant coffee, vanilla and sugar.  Stir in the warm chocolate mixture and cool to room temperature.
Stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.  Add cooled chocolate mixture.  Stir in the reserved chocolate chips and nuts that have been dusted with the flour.  Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes.  Halfway through the baking, rap the pan against the oven rack to allow air to escape from between the pan and the brownie batter.  (sounds strange bit who am I to argue!)
Do Not Over Bake!!!!  Cool thoroughly.  Refrigerate and cut into squares.  These cut much easier if they are cold.  If you want your brownie warm zap for a few seconds in the microwave.  This is a recipe that Ina Garten did on the food network quite a while back.  I think the latest version she does has peanut butter swirled into the batter as well.

This is now the only bownie I make.
