In our family we like to pair dark chocolate and cherry flavors, like dark chocolate brownies with chopped cherries in them and then just a touch of cherry flavoring in my homemade chocolate frosting.  Keep up the good ideas, bakers!

I remember death by chocolate. Choc cake, choc filler, choc icing and choc ice cream in such a large deep dish yo got it for free if you could eat it all. We used to share one between the five of us.

lol lol lol --- Nikki, when Peaches wants warm she heads for me.
I "talk" on my little lap top pushed way back from the edge of a card table.
She snuggles and sleeps in front of the computer with her head and front legs over my left arm.
Badcat sleep on the printer setting behind the computer.

Aa far as chocolate cookies go, I would probably have to say chocolate chip cookies, M&M cookies and the peanut butter cookies with the chocolate kiss on top.  Love chocolate!!!

Marie - search the cookie recipes found here .... there's one chocolate one  made with mint chocolate chips.  The cookie is REALLY good.  I make it with no mint chips but use lots of nuts.

Patricia - My Mom used to make these for her Christmas goody trays that she gave to a lot of her friends.  She loved making these because they were quick and easy, she used to say that she felt like she was cheating because they were so easy.  Thanks for the recipe.

Chocolate/Butterscotch hong kong candy-Get your chocolate fix! Melt one bag each of NESTLE semi-sweet choc chips and one bag butterscotch chips in a doubler broiler bowl. Mix all together until blended and chocolate is smooth. Add about 16 ounces (bag or cans) of crunchy chow mein noodles and mix into the chocolate until all noodles are coated.  Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper and let set until firm (chocolate hardens). Bet you can't eat just one! You can sprinkle white or toasted coconut on top or colored sprinkles for holiday decor or the  tiny NESTLE chocolate chips add more chocolate flavor. If you add anything to the top of the candy, do this before the chocolate hardens. PS. This recipe can easily be adapted to suit your tastes by using NESTLE white chocolate chips or mint or any combination that you like. If you are a nut lover, you can add in canned peanuts or other nuts for extra flavor and crunch. If you prefer, you can also use many different kinds of cereals instead of the chow mein noodles. (NOTE: these do not freeze well but can be stored for about 2 weeks in an airtight container.

I also love the 123 fudge sauce that Mary Ann mentioned.  It was in an old recipe booklet put out by Carnation milk.  I have lost the original booklet but fortunately I had copied that recipe and now even have it in my computer file.  It is both quick, easy and yummy.

Angela -- Peaches is the sweetest, most needy, most loving cat I've ever met.  Both Peaches and her brother Badcat follow me from room to room - they play or nap where ever I am.
