Thanks Nikki for the easier way to do this.  Last year I made some for the girls and had a really hard time of it( some parts were too thick).  Will have to try it again lol.

thanks for the tip and the tip about peanut butter i love that that sounds so good i think im gonna do that and then roll them in choped up peanut butter cups or even reaces peaces cant wait to try thanks again iv also doen ones where you dip them in carmel first then the chocolate and then you can drizzel them with more carmel there also supper yummy :-)

I just came back from Aldi's.  Needed to get another tub of Pretzel Rods. This will be a project for us this week.  My Grandson loves making Chocolate Covered Pretzels.  He is not a fan of Peanut Butter..(go figure!)..so I will be making the peanut butter dipped ones and then he can dip them.  Will dip plain chocolate ones first so as to not get peanut butter in the chocolate.

Another idea for "leftover chocolate" from dipping candy.  I have dipped plastic spoons in chocolate.  Wrap each spoon in plastic wrap tie with a piece of curling ribbon. Then give with a mug from the dollar store and a few envelopes of hot chocolate mix.  Fast, easy, inexpensive and the added chocolate makes the packages stuff that much richer.

I have also found pretty and different mugs at Salvation Army and Goodwill so I am supporting a good cause as well. Great place to get unusual plates to put candy or cookies on if you are giving them away. Much prettier than a plastic or paper plate, you are recycling and helping a great cause.

Hi Christine -- wow, you have some great sounding ideas.  Let us know how it goes.

I did not have much luck when I was trying to make the rods.  Whew, it was hard work
and I could have made 2 or 3 batches of divinity while trying to presuade these rods
to work.  One bag of big rods is my only attempt........ Oh, they are so pretty and so delicious
they will be a big hit but I'm too lazy to do that.
