Do you have a vacuum sealer? When I have excess chocolate I vacuum seal it and it's just as good the following year! I keep it in a cool dry pantry. Wink

You can never have too much chocolate.  It sounds as though you put all the chocolate too good use.  Mary Ann S.

One of the best things about going to a fair is that you give yourself "permission" to eat stuff you would never eat otherwise.  Well when I saw that the Wisconsin State Fair had Chocolate covered bacon I said to myself "I gotta try that".
I did.
Not bad. You get the smoky, salty taste from the bacon that goes so well with the chocolate.
There is a recipe for a chocolate bark that uses Smokehouse Almonds.  I found the recipe on the Chocolatier site that was a "sister" to this one.  It is possible that the recipe is still "floating" around this site.  The chocolate bark is outstanding using the smoked almonds. If it can not be found I think I still have the recipe I can write it down just let me know.

My husband recently wasn't even going to stop at Russel Stovers on a recent trip we took because he thought I had to much chocolate.  But if momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy.  Needless to say we stopped.

Oh that is so nice ! Do you know which one? He'll probably start carrying your Nephews beer in his restaurant if he isn't already.

Gale...

I even asked my hubby and we could not think of it!  I guess I am having MF, but I do remember that he had a Spanish name.  My nephew was so excited; he said that he was the Champion of the Iron Chef!  If I heard the name I would remember...isn't that terrible, it's my old age!! lol
