Chocolate No Bake Cheesecake Pie Makes: 10 servings, 1 slice each Total Time: 3 hr 10 min by: mkgtweety

what you need
  • 2 packages (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, Regular or 1/3 Less Fat, softened
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 1 can (14 oz.) chocolate sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 HONEY MAID Chocolate Pie Crust (6 oz.)
make it
1. In bowl with a hand mixer (or beat by hand) the cream cheese for 1 minute to break it up a little. Then add the orange zest, orange juice, and the can of chocolate sweetened condensed milk and beat for 3 to 4 minute more to make sure that everything is thoroughly mixed and smooth.

2. Pour filling into the Honey Maid Chocolate Pie Crust. Smooth top of pie and cover with provided lid or plastic.

3. Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or until firm. (Can be made the day before.) Slice and serve up!!!!
Notes
You can make your own chocolate for a 9-inch pie plate from scratch and let it cool completing before adding filling.

If you don't have a fresh orange juice, you can use orange juice from bottle and dried orange peel.

Also you can make it in a 9x13 pan to make it into squares. Using the filling (you may have to double up on the filling if need be.} above and making your own cookie crust that comes up the sides of the pan just a little. Just pour the filling over the prepared cool crust in the 9x13 pan and chill as said above.

If you can't find chocolate sweetened condensed milk add 1/2 cup of Hershey's chocolate syrup to reg. sweetened condensed milk. Stir 'til you see no more white showing.

Cori Ann -- I can't find any chocolate crumb pie crusts - not even a plain chocolate cookie - in this area.  How do I make one?  Thanks!!

I needed chocolate crumbs for a 9" springform pan for a turtle cheesecake for Christmas.  I purchased the Target brand of oreo and it worked out great. I was just looking for a way to save. I scraped off the white icing in between each cookie & used butter to mix so it sticks.  I'm not sure where they carry the choc. crumb pie crusts, but you can always try this.   Now I'm going to have to make this pie.  I was going to make a choc. cake, but maybe the pie will help with my choc. craving!!!               Hope this helps.

Nancy, I have used cho. graham crackers to make a crust with good results.

Thanks Fran -- this area doesn't have chocolate graham crackers either.  I wonder why we are so short on chocolate stuff.
If I use oreos is it necessary to scrape away the white filling?  Boy, that sounds like a lot of work.

Nancy, you could leave the filling and omit the sugar and cut back a bit on the melted butter.  It should make a good crust.  You could also use regular graham crackers and add a table spoon or two of cocoa and increase the sugar a little bit.  Or better yet use some of the chocolate chip cookies you make, you will have a great tasting crust no extra sugar needed if you use an already sweet cookie.
