In Response to More candy : Nancy, I don't know how this escaped me...and everyone else for that matter but I just came across this recipe and I think if might be right up your alley. Sounds like this combines both cookie and candy. Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies 1 Box 19. 5 ounce brownie mix 1/4 Cup butter, melted 4 ounces cream cheese, softened 1 egg 1 Cup powdered sugar 1 Cup peanut butter 1/2 Container chocolate frosting...If I were making these I would just make a ganache, easier and not as sweet. Heat oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl beat brownie mix, melted butter, cream cheese and egg 50 strokes with a spoon until blended. Onto ungreased cookie sheet drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls. 2 inches apart to make 24 cookies, smooth edges to form round cookies. In a small bowl combine powdered sugar and peanut butter until mixture forms a ball. With hands roll rounded teaspoonfuls into 24 balls. Lightly press into each ball of cookie dough. Bake 10 to 14 minutes or until edges are set. Cool cookies on sheets for at least 30 minutes. Remove cooled cookies and spread a thin layer of frosting over peanut butter portion of each cookie. And another for you and this is what I call Stupid Simple..... Chocolate Truffles. 3 Cups chocolate chips 1 can, 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk 1 Tb vanilla extract Coatings...flaked coconut, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, crushed nuts, what ever you like.... In a heavy sauce pan over low heat melt chips with sweetened condensed milk. Remove from heat and stir in extract. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in desired coating. For Amaretto Truffles, substitute 3 Tb amaretto for extract. Or use 1/2 tsp almond extract and 1 tsp vanilla extract. I do hope more people see this and flood you with candy recipes. I will be watching for some new ones as well....
