I'm a big fan of brownies. Just had some over the weekend that were really yummy. They had white/vanilla frosting with sprinkles and were very tasty.

Sometimes I put brownie batter in paper-lined cupcake tins. I stick a treat like some M&Ms, peppermint morsels, a chocolate kiss, a peanut butter cup - anything I have handy into each one. The kids go wild.

Brownie batter is great in cupcake papers -- so neat for kids.

Brownies are great.
I have decided there are 2 no make that 3 brownie loving types.
1..the ones that love the corners and crispy bits.
2..the ones that love the gooey center.
3..the ones that love the brownie no matter where it was in the pan.

Believe it or not there are other brownies other than Chocolate I know it is hard to believe but some of the others taste pretty darn good as well.

I'm #1 !! lol lol. I want the corners and all the edges. When I'm making brownies to take somewhere I always cut them into neat squares for the serving plate BUT I keep every inch, every crumb of brownie edge for me

I bake BROWNIES (byTBS) in mini muffin pans( 400' for about 15 minute.Our INSTORE BAKERY sells these for $1.99 dozen {SPECIALSALE]SALE,i GET4 DOZEN from one 9'X 13" recipe
Sometimes I make an 8"x8" mudpie& 24 mini rowniebites from th t same recipe.
Hubbylovesthem allbutalways wantsmorebrownies.
I makea bundt pan (350' for about35 minuters) YOU CAN'T "GO WRONG" MAKING BROWNIES IN ANY WAY YOU CHOOSE

Somehow it doesn't seem right for "brownies" to be anything but brown. I know some are called "blondies" which is more descriptive for what they are. Maybe "squares" would be good for those that aren't chocolate.

I will admit, with pride, that I am a chocoholic. I love brownies the traditional ones. But I do enjoy a good "Blondie Brownie" once in a while. The flavor of the butter comes through. The butterscotch like flavor is a nice change from the chocolate.

Sort of makes one wonder what makes a brownie a brownie and a cookie a cookie or a cake a cake. A cookie recipe done in a pan is much like a brownie. A brownie done in the "cake like" method is more cake like than brownie like. (and I must say cake type brownies have never been a favorite of mine. And I will forego them for something else)

anyone remember the Snow-topped Holiday Swirled Brownie Bars recipe toll House had
on their web site? I still have the recipe. But since Toll house does not make their Holiday swirled
Morsels anymore you can use other Toll house Morsels. Look for it here in this forum enjoy!
it is truly a classic toll house holiday recipe that you can make anytime of the year!

look in this forum I posted the toll house snow - topped Holiday swirled Brownie Bars recipe,
the one that toll house apparently does not have on their website anymore.
the snow toppped thing it is whipped topping.
